Mangal Pooja

Mangal Pooja is a sacred ritual dedicated to Mars (Mangal), the planet of energy, courage, and action in Vedic astrology. Mars governs strength, ambition, and determination, but when afflicted, it can cause aggression, conflicts, accidents, and delays in marriage (especially Mangal Dosha).

Performing this pooja helps pacify Mars's fiery influence, reducing anger, impulsiveness, and fostering patience and discipline. It strengthens leadership qualities, boosts vitality, and helps overcome obstacles related to property, siblings, and career growth.

The pooja is best performed on Tuesdays, Mars’s ruling day, with offerings of red flowers, red cloth, jaggery, and lentils. Chanting powerful mantras like the Mangal Beej Mantra ("Om Kraam Kreem Kraum Sah Bhaumaya Namah") and reciting the Hanuman Chalisa amplifies the positive effects.
